G. Kerry Haymaker is a founding member of the law firm of Haymaker & Heroux and has extensive courtroom and trial experience, having handled cases and trials in Courts in counties all over Tennessee as well as Federal Court. He has represented literally hundreds of defendants in felony and misdemeanor cases.

Mr. Haymaker’s practice is almost exclusively criminal. He regularly attends training seminars related to criminal representation. He has a particular interest in defending clients in cases where the State is seeking the death penalty as well as Federal cases.

Professional Memberships

Mr. Haymaker is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers where he serves on the Legislative Committee. He is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Nashville Bar Association.

Court Admissions

Mr. Haymaker is admitted to all State Courts in Tennessee as well as the Federal District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee. He is also admitted to the Federal Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Haymaker has represented criminal defendants since the beginning of his practice and has never been a prosecutor.

David R. Heroux is a founding member of the law firm of Haymaker & Heroux. Mr. Heroux has extensive courtroom and trial experience, having handled cases in the Federal and State Courts through out the State of Tennessee. In both the trial and appellate Courts in Federal and State cases, Mr. Heroux has represented and protected the rights of hundreds of citizens charged with crimes.

Mr. Heroux’s law practice is almost exclusively focused on criminal defense. He regularly attends training seminars related to defending persons accused of criminal violations.

Mr. Heroux is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a member of the Nashville Bar Association.

Mr. Heroux is admitted to practice before all of the Courts of the State of Tennessee.  He has also been admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the Federal Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
